It's that time of year again! 10to 20 thousand of your best friends on Harleys set in on this small gambling town. We have been going since RR #19. Major kick in the ***. heading there Tuesday and will probably stick around for a week or two after. Do some biking, shooting, jeeping. If the weather is good to us, may launch the boat. Time for some heavy duty recreating

Sherry and I attended the event in 2008 and stayed at Harrahs,with a group of other Boss Hoss owners. Since then,we have always wanted to go back.

 

Test rode a 'Hoss in Las Vegas a couple of years ago. In a word, "W O W". The one I rode has a '32 Ford' body and the small 350 Chevy engine. My checkbook and credit cards were throbbing in my pocket. Fortunately / Unfortunately wife was there and talked me down. HELL of a toy!!!

 

We are here. A bit breezy crossing the desert, temps in the mid 70s. It is only
300 miles. Did most of it on old Rt. 66. Laughlin is pretty dead now, event starts Thursday. More to come

 

Interested to hear how it went. Met some great guys (and a girl or two) down there a while back. Would be interested to know if its still the great run it used to be.

 

We have been to the last 17, were there when the Mongols and Hells Angels got into it at Harrah's. Participation is way down since the glory days of bike rallies, but still a bunch of bikes and a ton of partiers. We didn't take a lot of pictures this time, we have tons from years past.

 

Sherry and I couldn't make it this year,Steve, but we plan to join you and Vesta there,in 2017.
