Red Light on

I am not sure, but I think this is the indicator for lighting fault.
The current draw of the Truck Light LED is most likely different than ECM expects for OEM lighting. The computer monitors circit to indicate lighting failures.
Check DTC and see if there is a code. Not sure of sequence to check on FW. Should be in manual.
Friend had this on a BOB when he changed out headlight. Can not remember how he fixed it. Probably just let the warning light stay on, or he was talking of putting a resister in series to provide correct value to signal.

Just spoke to the friend that had this issue. He investigated a resistor and had determined the resistor was so large and would cause too much heat. He said if he runs on high beam, the indicator will not go on, it draws enough current. If he goes low beam the indicator will go on and stay on until ignition off. Just funny if they have a value it is looking for, that you can't set a new limit. We had gone through all options in the ECM, and you can not access these values with the Power Vision, or with SE tuner.
