Default foot board spacers

i bought footboard spacers from DK and was wondering if i could double up on the ones on the left side. the reason for this is my fake leg just catchs the edge of the floorboard now and another inch would really help. i think instead of buying a whole other kit i could just make longer spacers and use longer bolts. anyone ever done this ? this forum is great and the first place i come to for advice.

The wider you go, the more you reduce your lean angle.

If you carve corners, you need to be careful. Going straight down the freeway should be no problem. Use the best bolt you can find to make the floorboard stronger.

You're in the triglide forum talking about lean angle?

I just installed a set of 2.5" spacers from T Glide Stuff that are very high quality- not just a piece of pipe and a longer bolt.

Go to tglidestuff.com. Dennis has exactly what you are looking for. It's engineered to handle the weight at 2 1/4" I got a set from him and love them. They cost more than a bolt and spacer, but you get what you pay for. Along with being 2 1/4" wider, you can adjust the overall position 1/2" up or 1/2" forward, as well as stay stock if you want. If it is too expensive, I really don't know what could take you out to 2" and be structurally sound. My $0.02. Good luck!!!

The quality of them is amazing, not only functional, but good looking also. I put a set of them on my dad's 09 Triglide.

I love my spacers from Dennis from tglidestuff.com. They are not only more comfortable, but also provide a much cooler ride as I am no longer cuddling with my gas tank. They are truly awesome...

Call Kevin at DK customs. He is a great guy and could fill you in on how you could get the set up you want.

Quite a few options for moving the floorboards in the below thread.

Maybe Dude was talking about how much you can lean in the seat. I'm still adjusting to not leaning. At least I no longer expect the trike to respond to the leaning.

Really messes with me when I get on my Sporty.

Also awesome information. I knew there must be a way to move the floorboards out. My right ankle burn like hell being so close to the lower unit. Just ordered a set from tglidestuff.com
