I love being on Beale Street.
My favorite place is Pork With An attitude.
Great food. Then go out and just watch the people.

 

I'll be riding to the Ozarks in September with 3 friends. Beale Street sounds like it would be a good place to go.

Does anyone have any recommendations for lodging near there? Maybe walking distance? The motel/hotel must be secure for the bikes, and affordable.

 

The Peabody is walking distance. Very nice Hotel, secure, & expensive. Across the street from it is the Holiday Inn, also secure, and quite a bit less expensive.

For reference, bike night is on Beale Street between Front Street and 2nd street, with the main concentration of Restaurants & Blues joints between Front & Main on Beale Street. It's about a 5 minute walk from the Holiday Inn.

 

If I ever get down that way id love to go. sounds like a blast. have fun!!
