When did you know it was time?
#11
For me it was time when my neuropathy (from kidney dialysis) in my feet made me feel very unstable at stops, especially with the bride on back. Wife been on me for a couple of years to try a TG but hell no I am not a cripple!! Well finally one day at the HD dealer she talked me into a test ride. 10 mins in and one U-Turn was all it took for me. Never been happier on a bike and the wife loves it. Even a stubborn headed old mule like me can learn a few things once in a while

My left hip was bone on bone for several years and bought a 2015 Trike. We love it. Hip replaced 5 months ago, and while I wish I still had a 2 wheeler, I am going to stick with this trike. 65 years young. My trike can keep up on any group ride the chapter does, and have made it more comfortable with passenger arm rests, back rest, highway pegs, extended floor boards, other cosmetics and Stage 1 with Cannons.

I was looking (not seriously) at trikes when I bought my '13 CVO Ultra.
We have FOUR two-wheelers and my wife rides her own bike.
I'm thinking about getting an '18 Tri-Glide but I will keep at least one two-wheeler (probably my '98 Heritage Springer) for as long as I'm able to ride it.
My cousin bought a Tri-Glide last year and my riding partner is planning on buying a '17 (as soon as he can make up his mind about the color).
We're both also hoping that there will some day be a CVO-Tri-Glide

I got a Tri-Glide after an accident left me unable to hold up a Touring model.
Still have a Sporty and a Softail, but the wife and I do a long trip (usually 10K+ miles) each year, and she is not up for that on a Sporty or Softail.
It took me a while to get over the life long stigma of 3 wheels. Once I did, wow, trikes are their own kind of fun...and a Much More Relaxed ride.
Had an '11 and now a '14.
We're closing in on 100k miles of riding on Tri-Glides.
And Cowboy Rob, looking at your sig pic, gotta tell you, you can have a ton of fun on a Tri-Glide, wheelies, drifting, power-slides, burn-outs...or you can just cruise along.
Pic Mary took after someone on the forum said a TG is under-powered and cannot do a wheelie.

I am a young 60 years old. Still run and bicycle. I walk over 8 miles a day at my Home Depot. I lift heavy things there as well. My decision was made for me by my wife. I used to have 2 GS 1100 Suzukis. Wife hated them because they lean. Scares her. So we went to a dealership. She sat on a TriGlide...and that sold it for us!
