Good idea. Thanks! Bought my TG at Lakeshore. Great folks to deal with since Fox Powersports took them over.

The fishtails are back aways from the trunk . No problem there. That's why it's so much quieter I believe. So far no scraping but I do have the lift kit on also .

Did this happen after they moved to the new location ? I was born and raised in Highland Park. L S H-D had been in Waukegan for ever.

Fox just bought them in 2014. They've been over by Libertyville since 2002. Just east of I94 on 176. Kitty-corner from Lambs Farm, if you remember where that is. They ran into some financial trouble in 2012-2013, sued for foreclosure. Revolution Motorsports bought them in 2013, then sold them to Fox in 2014. They seem to be going strong now. I miss the 20% parts discount they used to give, though. Of course that could've been part of the reason they were struggling to pay the bills...

Interesting. I stopped by the new store about 6 years ago. Was in Highland Park for my dad's funeral. I see Berry has sold Chicago H-D. Back in '09 I bought a Road Glide from there for several thousand less than the Dallas dealers would sell it for. Gave me the chance to visit my dad one last time before he passed.

DK's lift kit. First mod. In fact, they went on the trike within days after I bought the trike. Without question, they do improve the handling. And, most likely saved my short slash tips a time or two before I installed the fishtails.

I have fishtails on my '94 bagger. On the trike I have Screaming Eagle mufflers with removable slash cut. Now I will have to find the fish tails that will fit them.

Bought mine from Surdyke. Had them in about a week. Instructions are back asswards btw. The pictures show the stinger assembly that the fish tail mounts to with the stinger inserted into the muffler housing ......... Wrong ! It has to point outwards so it looks like a black silencer when mounted to the muffler body correctly. Also, my parts packet had one of the countersunk flat head allen screws missing even though it was factory sealed
