I am new to Trikes, having recently bought a 2017 Triglide. I thought the steering required a lot of effort, but being my first Trike thought it to be normal. Someone please tell me how a DK lift kit will improve steering.

The Comfort Lift Kit replaces the stock shock mounts of your Harley trike. It gives an increase of 1.25" at the shocks and 1.6" at the rear. This is the same as the Standard Lift Kit. The taller rear ride height will also help keep your muffler tips from scraping, when entering & exiting driveways, etc.

What is different about the Comfort Lift from the Standard Lift is it also slightly changes the angle of the shocks rearward on the swingarm. The suspension now absorbs more of the smaller and larger road imperfections, resulting in less of the bumps being passed on to the rider and passenger.

An added benefit of a lift kit is by raising the rear end, this will decrease the Trail in the front end geometry a small amount and that will result in slightly quicker steering. It won't be lightened to the point of being twitchy but will offer a noticeable reduction in steering effort.

Thanks for the explanation. The pictures tell a lot, as well as the trail explanation. We have the rolled "curbs from hell" in our subdivision, making life miserable for us with Trikes/bikes/low-slung cars.
A lift kit will be on my Christmas list.

Default Comfort lift

Is there a great of difference between the comfort lift and the regular lift from legend?

The Comfort Lift smooths out the edges of the bumps much better than you will experience with the Standard Lift. To some folks this is a great difference/improvement, to others it is just a little bit nicer.

"The more you have a cantilever (angle) on your trikes shocks, the smoother the shocks will operate."

Smoother on your wallet also...the Comfort Lift Kit is about $55 less expensive than the Legends.

I had my DK Custom Comfort Lift installed last week. Wish I had done it sooner, much sooner.
