Default Out with the old and in with the new

I went into the dealer to get some radio issues looked at and walked out with a new 2016 Tri Glide. The best part was it was the wifes idea to change bikes (ok there was not a lot of convincing to change over but remember it was her idea). I had all my upgrades taken off of my 2014 Tri Glide and put on the 2016. I went and saw it today and it is sweet, I get to take possession of it on Tuesday. I don't think I will be home tomorrow.

Congrats, I am really curious what the Milwaukee Eight is going to be, and how the 2017 Tri Glide might change.

I think a lot of folks are watching, especially since HD was fined by the EPA and agreed to buy back all the SEPST's from dealers and destroy them. The big rub is HD stating they will void the warranty of any 2017 which shows the ECM has been tampered with using a non approved tuner. I think we are on the verge of an aftermarket parts shakeup. I have to believe the Government is starting with HD and will turn its attention to the rest of the aftermarket manufacturers who offer parts which violate the clean air act. Some of the smaller mom and pop manufacturers could be decimated by large fines.

Here it is, http://www.jsonline.com/story/money/...gine/89196948/
Was down to the dealer this morning and took some pics of Street Glide, but this video is better information than pics. Oil cooled for Street Glide and Water cooled for Ultra, and Tri Glide. Smoother running and quieter with balance. Interesting stuff. I am not ready to make the move yet. Time will tell.

Just how eager were they to sell? I mean swapping all your stuff over to the new bike?

They were quite happy to sell the bike in part because I have been a long term customer since around 86 and they had mine sold before it hit the floor.
