They're not very sensitive. I know I could walk up to any one of them and push it away without the alarm making a single peep. A few years back, I pushed my dads about a half a mile without the fob even being around, it never made a sound.

Only way it would raid hell would be loading it onto a trailer. All the thief needs to do is push it a ways away so nobody who counts hears the alarm scream when they load it up. Once it's loaded, they're gone. Then it's a matter of yanking the siren out and plucking out the battery and the racket stops. Yanking the siren and battery from it is only about a 30 second job.

but, if you turn the ignition switch on and don't know the code the thing does start screaming.

Yes it does do that, but you don't need to turn the ignition on to move it.

I was told by hd dealership that the can adjust the sensitivity. Don't know if they can or it's B.S.

It's BS, only the 2 wheel bikes have a sensitivity adjustment, trikes are what they are.

Probably money better spent would be on a Xena disk brake alarm. I bought one about 7 or 8 years ago and use it on long trips when staying in motels. It is loud, hard to remove, and quick to slap on. Mine still looks brand new and the only thing I have done is replace the batteries a couple of times.
