Default Tank lift works well

YES cooler motor Tank lift directs air on motor not over top to rider face. Seems to help all the little things add up into a real difference in my opinion. No real issues installing tank lift run fuel down so it's not so heavy and awkward to handle I used a wooden wedge to hold up my tank I did it by myself. It does have an effect on rear of tank and seat to me for the better some not so much depending on the size of rider. Air deflectors really helped also. travel safely Fred

Great looking trike you have. What year is it?

Also looks like you have passenger arm rests as well (Kuryakan?). Sure would like to see DK Customs come up with an American made arm rest and cup holder setup.

Mike,
i am sure it makes a difference in heat dissipation overall. I did some other stuff also so it isn't something that I can pinpoint as to how well just this worked. I do like the looks and it is easier to clean the rocker boxes. The install is very easy. I did the deluxe option that lifts the back also. It does lift the front of the seat slightly but not enough to make it uncomfortable for me.

Mike, I don't see my reply. I,m sure this helps with heat dissipation. I don't notice it though because of some of the other stuff I did. I like the looks and it is easier to clean the rocker boxes

The Tank Lift will give a 10-15* drop in engine temp. If you use the Deluxe option it will lift the nose of the seat about 1/2". The tank lift by itself does not affect the nose of the seat at all. Most do not find that lifting the nose of the seat (the part of the seat that is on top of the tank) is a problem.

On 14 and later bikes it has no effect on the gas gauge. On earlier models it will make some of them more accurate and some of them less accurate, by about 1/5th of a gallon.
