Trike Security

Are you going to provide the legal defense fund ? If it happens in a parking lot and the perp isn't armed nor threatens you, you are not protected under either the castle law or, a state's "stand your ground" statue. Even with a number of years under my belt in law enforcement, certified concealed carry, the last thing I want to deal with on vacation is the paperwork etc, entailed in proving self defense. It's not worth it. The cost of hiring a criminal defense attorney is astronomical.

1. fork lock
2. 2 front disk locks
3. hand brake/throttle clamp lock
4. cover with lock - only used it once - too much of a hassle to use and store on a trip.
5. Ask motel clerk if you can park in front of office. Most of the time they will say OK. I've never been turned down if there's enough room.
6. Lots of good insurance.
Or just beat the $hit out of it and get it all rusted up and dented and scratched = no one will want to steal it then. You will also save all that money on locks etc.
I'm not as paranoid with my trike as I am with my Limited. TG is a lot harder to steal and besides who wants to steal a TG?? Maybe in another 10~15 years when almost everyone will be riding a trike. LOL

You got that right, not that simple at all. One never knows who might see what took place, could be a person, could be a security camera. There are more and more personal security camera setups being deployed every day. One of the things LEO do is canvas to see who might have had a security camera pointed in the direction of the incident. I have 6 security cameras covering my house, if something was to happen, LEO's would be more than welcome to the footage.
