Thanks for the replies. A lot of common sense expressed on this thread. Appreciate it.

Only thing I would have to add is to attach something bright and colorful to that disk lock... not something you want to forget to take off! Did that once on my Sporty... only once... and luckily for me it was a cheap lock and sheared when I took off, but definitely got my attention!!

throw down knife of any kind or any other weapon to prove you were threaten. better yet , stuff the ****** body into a dumpter and walk away.

1. fork lock
2. 2 front disk locks
3. hand brake/throttle clamp lock
4. cover with lock - only used it once - too much of a hassle to use and store on a trip.
5. Ask motel clerk if you can park in front of office. Most of the time they will say OK. I've never been turned down if there's enough room.
6. Lots of good insurance.

Or just beat the $hit out of it and get it all rusted up and dented and scratched = no one will want to steal it then. You will also save all that money on locks etc.

I'm not as paranoid with my trike as I am with my Limited. TG is a lot harder to steal and besides who wants to steal a TG?? Maybe in another 10~15 years when almost everyone will be riding a trike. LOL

Oh yeah, moving the body is a felony. It is considered tampering with evidence.

to start with, who cares. all you have to do is plant a clean weapon on them. my point was all you have to do is show you were threaten and you are good.

You got that right, not that simple at all. One never knows who might see what took place, could be a person, could be a security camera. There are more and more personal security camera setups being deployed every day. One of the things LEO do is canvas to see who might have had a security camera pointed in the direction of the incident. I have 6 security cameras covering my house, if something was to happen, LEO's would be more than welcome to the footage.
