Default Trike Security

Wife and I are headed to Arkansas in a couple weeks. How do you guys secure your trike when staying overnight at hotels and such?

Thanks
Rocky

Ignition & fork locked, disk lock on front brake, generic cover and park as close to front door as the clerk will let me.
Also good insurance.

Ride safe & enjoy your trip!

I also bought the HD Kryptonite security cable. Seems very heavy duty. I put it through a rear wheel. Try to park against a curb front wheel in. Will make it more difficult to lift or tow out. Oh yeah,.and set the security,

Oh yeah, tie the guy in the picture to it.

I have a 115db motion detector in the jukebox that has enough of a delay so I can open it and turn it off before it goes off. My preference is to park in back with my window facing the cycle without being visible to a major road. The room window definitely has to face the cycle.

Nothing except the original HD security system.

Something I've wondered about. If the bike is parked outside your room, will the fobs (in the room) keep the alarm system from arming?

Hard to say which is why I use a motion detector. I've had the fob in my cup holder while I'm trying to enter an address and the system doesn't always see it. I've made sure I have a fresh battery but it's still hit and miss.

I park wherever is convenient, clean off the bugs, fork lock it, disc lock and forget about it for the night. I've been in a few seedy neighborhoods and never lost a minutes sleep, that's what I have insurance for.

I really don't worry about it; just use the fork lock.

I try to lock it up well, but, no amount of security will protect it from a determined thief. I always carry good insurance and then I don't have to worry about it.
