I'm in the process of moving my bikes, family, and dogs to Hawaii....sounds easy enough....BUT the Trike seems to be a problem, because of the size and weight. Does anyone have any info or experience with shipping a Tri-Glide? Who have you used, or any suggestions? Any problems? The HD Fatboy does not seem to be a problem, other than the security features.....others have suggested to me to take the fuses out of both bikes to disarm the system and save the battery. Apparently the trike will not fit on a lift gate and has to be driven on the trailer from a loading dock, I have seen plenty of trikes, bikes and ATVs in Hawaii, so I know they get them there somehow. Any ideas? Thanks for any insight provided!!
The dogs are another headache as well, and the wife won't leave without them! I thought of that.....let me get the bikes there first!

 

Wow, Hawaii, sweet! I have no idea, but plenty of military personnel ship cars so I would think I would be a no brainier....maybe check with a military base if close by. Just thinking out loud

 

As far as security, put the bikes in transport mode.it shut the alarm off while transporting. Should be in your owners manual.
