Has anyone removed the red reflectors from the side of the rear fenders?
Just wondering. I think I'd like it better without them. Thinking of using dental floss to cut through the sticky tape....
Few people leave them on. You can use dental floss. I've removed dozens of them. I prefer 8 lb fishing line and WD 40. Use a slow sawing motion. The remaining glue etc can be removed with goo gone.
Stripped them off of my '14, and will do the same with the new '17 once I get a chance to wash it and get a coat of wax on it! Had it for 3 weeks now, but Hurricane Matthew interfered with things for about a week. At the dealer now for 1000 mile service.
Ya know, I don't think the reflectors look that great either, but I prefer to have something to stand out & reflect light to on coming traffic at night !
I hate that feeling when cars are headed towards the side of me !

And that is why I put wheel stripes on my Dyna. It doesn't have near the lighting of my FLHXS. Here's a pic of it in day and one in the garage in the dark with a flashlight on the wheels.
