Me it was simple.... I like to ride all year. So i got my first street trike in 08.
I pack away my two wheeler from Nov to March...And ride the trike every day.
Even in the snow...Cant do that on two wheels....

There was a one-off a few years back called F3 Adrenaline.

There is. It's a '17 Tri Glide with a Baker reverse kit !

30+ years on 2, and got to the point wife would not ride with me on 2 any longer. I missed her riding with me, and she said maybe she would feel more comfortable on 3 wheeler. Made the change and no regrets. I have to admit, my knee does give out. Never had an issue while riding 2 wheel, but have had thought myself it could happen.

Why three wheels?

'Cause 2 ain't enough and four is too many!

Seriously thinking about an Anniversary Model Trike next year but I'll still have two wheelers to play with once in a while.

It's hell to get old...Arthritis, back surgery, hip replacement, what's next?
I had my Police bike converted to a trike and WOW! I haven't had this much fun in years.

Two strokes did it for me. I've got very little balance and I still want to ride. I know that a trike is definitely not a motorcycle, but, it's the next best thing.

Much appreciated. Ride Safe!
I decided after having a back fusion that if my Roadking ever fell over or a cage cut me off, I wouldn't be able to pick it up and would have to ask someone. With a back fusion you can also injure the vertebrae above and the vertabrae below over time. After that all being said, they just look like a lot of fun!! I thought hell I'm almost 53 and I (personally) thought it was a good future plan seeing I only buy a new HD every 10 or more years .It's not an age thing, another guy I met was younger than me and was excited to buy one, traveled thousands of miles to buy it.

Because the wife said she would ride with me on a trike. I would rather ride with her than anyone else or no one at all. Talking to myself on a trip sucks.
