As far as I know, any of the Road King engine guards will fit. I have a friend that installed stock Road King guards on his Freewheeler

All the trikes use the same frame up front 83411-14BHP. I would have to guess that the same engine guard would also fit 49184-09A

The crash bars on my 2015 Freewheeler came from my 2008 Electra Glide Standard. I took off the lower fairings and put Linby engine guards on. Took the lowers off my 2009 Tri-glide and put the same linby bars on her. When I traded the '09 for the Freewheeler I put them on her. The Linby bars make great highway pegs.

Just put on an engine guard and steering dampner bracket - part numbers as previously mentioned. Engine guard does not come with bolts -- luckily found some in my supply. So here are the step by step. Hardest part is to remove the plastic plugs from the mounting holes.
Step 1 -- remove nut from steering dampner.
Step 2 -- remove steering dampner bracket.
Step 3 -- mount engine guard by putting top under frame where dampner bracket was, it is the 'nut' for new bracket.
Step 4 -- Loosely put in bolt on left side to hold guard in place.
Step 5 -- Mount steering dampner bracket, put Loctite on bolt, do not tighten.
Step 6 -- mount steering dampner on bracket.
Step 7 -- put bolt with loctite in right side.
Step 8 -- Now tighten everything.
BTW, old bracket has a clamp for clutch cable. Remove it. I put a tie wrap on frame.

On 2017 Freewheeler.

Here are the pictures on installing. In steps as listed above.

Remove nut holding steering dampner

Steering dampner dropped.

Remove steering dampner bracket<br/>

Bracket has wiring clamp for clutch cable, remove later.

Raise engine guard so top is underneath frame, you can see it through the hole left by old bracket.

Loosely put in bolt on left side (easier)

Attach new bracket to engine guard and frame. Push bracket against frame, bolt then goes in easier.

Attach steering dampner to new bracket.

Put in bolt on right side. Note, I put loctite on all bolts.

Finished, now to get some pegs.

Default I asked for it!

LOL! Well I asked for pictures and I got pictures. I probably should have said I would like to see pics of the finished Freewheeler with lowers and bars all installed. However, I expect anyone interested in doing this install will really like your pics. When you finish it with the lowers post a couple more.
