Default Misprint? I Ordered Anyway...

Posted this on another Trike forum and thought I would do the same here in case anyone is interested....

Just poking around looking at shocks and this came up on Amazon.. Must be a mistake??

Amazon Amazon

List price was $625 and now avail for $6.43 plus $9 shipping.... I ordered a set anyway and the total price came up as advertised. Will be interesting to see how this all shakes out...

Cheers
Doug

The link that is in my post is not the same as the one I did a cut and paste on and I see that everything has changed - including the price. Not even the same vendor, Phat Performance Parts. Just printed off a copy of my order, not that it will likely do much good...

I had scrolled down in your link and it was there if you bought a set of fronts also. The rear were for six and change and the fronts were about 250. When added to cart it said that the rears were no longer available. Oh well

You'll have to keep us informed on how this works out. It will be interesting to see if the vendor is a stand up type of guy.

We live interesting times.

Where the hope is someone will take a loss for a clerical error and be "stand up" when the customer knew full well there was a $609.57 difference in the price. My old grandpa used to say "Just because you can, doesn't always mean you should".

Who knows, maybe I'm just old fashioned.

Ordered a pair also will see how this turns out....a lot of times these kind of things get shipped out before it is caught because of the process of payment from the seller to the vendor...forget what the product was but Amazon sold over 10000 orders of a mispriced product...

I would not be surprise if some of those are the same people that call their Harley Dealer's,.......... Stealers....
