Just bumping this post... was hoping for a 2017 OTD price on the red trike.. Our dealer says $32,995 without a lick of a deal but also says he will get the sale. I am purchasing for my husband and do not sit in the office well they "see what they can do." I know that they are not likely to come off the price much so was thinking they might be able to throw in a trunk guard, better passenger floorboards, and some chrome and rubber heated grips. (I would love the heated seats but am doubting that will fly) Any thoughts? I am going to email the deal (per another HD Forum suggestion) and wanted to see if that's too much or not enough to ask for in your opinions.

I have purchased the last four vehicles by communicating with dealers via email and gotten pretty good deals, at least I'm happy. Tell the dealer what you want and start the negotiations. I bought my 2017 Tri Glide last month. The dealer sold me a two tone bike for the price of a black bike ($1,350 savings), waived shipping ($856) and set up fees ($800). Only fee aside from tax, title and license was $50 document fee. Also got a fair deal on my 2008 Road Glide trade-in. Just have to be willing to walk if you can't get close to what you want. I had to travel 5 hours to pick up my Tri Glide because my local dealer just wouldn't budge on price or fees. If you're a veteran or law enforcement, don't hesitate to see if they'll cut you a better deal too. You'd be surprised how many places will give you deals on things if you ask.
