This was definitely the button and latch operating slowly, you could pull the button out physically to help it. We have not had a single instance of it opening after ensuring that the button is all the way out. Although those are both great pieces of advice. Thanks!

New recall to rebuild master cyclinder replacing rubber boot which might tear and cause clutch to not disengage.

Default Here are mine

Trunk lid will open during riding
Check engine light has an attitude ad decides when and where to turn on; will not turn on at the dealer--it knows.
When the engine shifts to its "heat safe" mode; the engine sounds like it wants to die and the voltage drops significantly--especially with both fans on.

And it's best to lock it. I had the same issue.

My trunk keep coming open on my 2015 tri glide, even after the dealer adjusted it, with the trunk locked. I decided to tackle it myself. Loosened the nut and then backed up on the stud to make it a little longer, then tightned the nut. Adjusted it this way
a few times untill it closed easily with no back and forth play in the door. Seemed to do the trick. Rode the rest of the day and hit a lot of RR tracks, so good so far

Make sure you still have it snug enough what it crushes the gasket enough to keep water out.
