No problems use it daily.Neutral is hard to find at times.Reverse is a nice feature, one could live without it though.I find it really helpful when I have parked facing down an incline.
Was a thread. That some one wrote that when they used reverse the radio would go on or off something with the reverse switch and radio. This was on a 2010XXX. Was back around Oct 09.
No problems---backed up a steep hill the other day just to see if it would do it.... I did look stupid in front of HD dealer..Had a few people watching and I hit reverse button and throttle ...dont need any gas...ha
I had the reverse breaker/trip switch kick out on me one time! I believe it may have been my fault though. I may have inadvertantly had my hand on the front break? Last summer and has not done it since!
I traded my 09 Tri-Glide in for a Softtail Deluxe because of a reverse problem. It tried to go into reverse while I was riding in the rain at 60MPH. Sounded like I dropped a pipe. I slowed to 35 and it went away, however, when I downshifted to first to pull into my driveway it actually went into reverse while I was doing 11MPH. Didn't trip the breaker and I had to use the kill switch to get it to stop. Almost threw me through the windshield when it happened. Went to the dealer the next morning and traded. They told me it was a cracked reverse control module under the seat (That's why they relocated em on the 2010 models) that got water in it. This combined with the heat issue, trunk leak that was never fixed, and lack of power in the mountains made me trade it for a softtail (waiting for my sidecar to be built/installed). Other than that the Tri-Glide is a fine motorcycle.....
