+1 on using the H-D hand pump!

I believe there is a difference in the shocks.

Default Shock Pressure

Had a couple friends over last night. They both run Ultra's. They never run more than 32psi, even with their wives on board? We were discussing newer type shocks for the TriGlide without the air.

Default Progressive's New Shocks

Called Progressive last week. They are testing their new shocks for the Triglide. (Drag Specialties Number 1310-0856
http://www.dragspecialties.com/produ...art%2F13100856

They ran into a problem with one of their vendors for a part that they use inside the shock. The vendor has sent them new revised parts and they are testing them now. They told me they will not release the new shock until it has passed all their tests. Sounds good to me. The new 416's can be pumped up to 100psi. I was told they react much differently than the stock Harley shocks and ride a lot better. Giving more travel and more cushion for the bumps. I believe the price will be $399.95 and will fit the Triglide system. You will probably have to take your box off to install them, not sure about that statement.
I plan to order them in a couple weeks and will post more info as I receive it.

I sent Progressive Suspension an email about the air shock for the HD TriGlide because they don't list one on their web site. Here is the answer I was given.

We will be offering it soon. We are waiting for one of our machine shops to finish the bodies.

I'm in Central Texas and told my LHD manager that I've been running right around 30 psi, with and without passenger. He said I should be running lower than that. I don't have any trips further than about 80 miles one way so I haven't even noticed anything uncomfortable really... I enjoy mine very much!

Same here! Had the dealer inspect shocks and, of course, couldn't find anything abnormal. Pumped those puppies up to 50#

I have changed the pressure at different times on wifes TG over the past two years but have never noticed a loss of pressure , even over the course of winter storage.
