We waited 6 weeks for the '09. and 4 weeks for the '11. The closest dealer had a Street Glide Trike on the floor for 2 weeks, but he had jacked the price a grand and he still sold it. I'm guessing there are a lot of us old bikers who just don't trust our balance anymore, but aren't ready to give up the freedom. Got more money than brains I guess.

Another 'acquaintance' of ours gave up on the long rides, but usually rides to breakfast with us on Sundays.

I just checked cycletrader, and total new and used tri glides in all states is 128. That's less than three per state. Seems a little low to me.

My Cycle Trader says 76 around USA.With most being new units with a "call for price" in the ad I don't see a surplus. My dealer sold 2 2009's recently for $29000.

I believe I posted this before, but one of the salesmen at my local dealership said that the Triglide is ranked 3rd in sales behind the Streetglide and Ultra Limited

Ya, our local dealer sells every new one that they can get and if they take a trike trade-in, it sells almost with in a week.

In my area all trikes are sold within the first week, if they are not pre-sold. Wife waited about a month for hers, but it had already been ordered for stock. Never made it to the showroom floor. Another dealer we shopped had 1 in stock for 3 days, and another dealer has one now that has been on the floor for about a week.

Maybe some had conflicting expectations between what they thought they wanted and what the got? Too bad there are not more places to rent one for a day first.

Only major problem I have with mine, not enough time it seems to ride. This extra wheel thing has been one of the best kept secrets. We enjoy ours and have no regrets in it purchase.
If market is soft as you say, jump on one, they must be cheap where you are looking, around here, no such luck.
