2013 Harley Tri-Glide passenger footboards
Hello all, I just joined the site, and am looking for some help from some Trike owners. I just bought a 2013 HD Tri-Glide 110 Anniversary Edition and my wife is only 4'11" tall, and she is having to tiptoe on the passenger floorboard if not wearing heels....thought that those footboards were adjustable up and down , but the guy at the HD store told me they weren't.....others have mentioned they are adjustable, but are shipped from the factory in the up position, so if that's the case then we definitely have a problem. Any feedback anyone could give me would be much appreciated.
Thanks Much, Jim

If you look at the rear foot rest, there is an adjustment there if you pull the top bolt out, (The lower bolt is a shouldered bolt that you don't have to loosen.) you can slide the rest down two more inches. Usually the rest is in the top hole when they are sold as to cover the holes up.
The other answer is to put a raised footrest frame, or best would be the adjustable footrest from Kuryakyn. you can get a set of these off EBay for about $169. (Last time I looked.)
When working with the bolts, always remember the blue locktite. By the way, it also comes in a gel stick.

They are adjustable. But a nice addition is the Kury adjustable passenger pegs. My wife uses them all the time.

Thanks RAP and msocko3......Called the dealer Monday, they got them in and installed them yesterday (while I was having sinus surgery) and wife & I will go down today to see if they do the trick....may still install the Kury pegs too depending on how comfortable she is with these....Really appreciate your input and help!!!
