Oh, I may have developed a little crush on Mary.
Glad to hear you enjoyed it. Canada is an amazing place to ride. We will be back.

Showed Mary your post...you made her day!

Knew this thread was here but never opened it till today on my day off...spent most of the day reading it.WOW what a tour. You and Mary have taken me to the Artic Circle and back in one day. Thank you Mary for the planning and you Kevin for the posting of it.
My question would be how many miles to you have on the 11 Tri Glide?

Cool, glad you enjoyed your trip up to the arctic circle and back!

We traded the '11 in for a '14 almost a year ago...at that time it was in great shape with 53k miles on it.

Excellent adventure you just took us all on! I lived up there for 2 years in a school bus in the early 80's so that brought back lots of memories. Just curious did the Trike take much of a beating on the Alcan? It was pretty rough back than.

The road in the Yukon was mostly very bad. The Haul Road out of Fairbanks was bad.

I was very surprised how well the TG handled it. If it had broken because of the pounding it would not have surprised me.

When we got back it was riding just as good as before the trip..nothing loose or worn. After the trip we put another 16k on it before trading it in for the '14.

There were a few small dings in the paint here and there. Even with that, we got more than 80% of the new purchase price in trade-in value.

Glad to hear you enjoyed it!

You have some great place to tour up in your part of the world!

We're going to try and take in some more of B.C. this year.
