Can you lift back end up buy the two bAr going across trunk and then put jack stands on axle on either side

What he said. I put my own on and it is not difficult if you can follow instructions. After install the bike rode a little better and I didn't scrape the tail pipes. Was it easier to steer, no not in my opinion but some say it is........Service and support from DK was great.

you can support it there but you don't lift it there. Follow the instructions

The axle has to hang free to complete the install. Put the jack stands where the factory tie downs are.
