Rider vs Owner
At ease guys. I'm a 100 percent DAV that rides year round here in the great state of Virginia. The "mileage thing" can be a good indicator. You're dealing with an owner if he has 5 year old garage candy with less than 5K on the odometer.
Try this one for size; an owner will check tomorrow's weather forecast to decide if he's going to ride. A Rider will check the forecast to know what to wear when he rides.
I'm not trying to start an argument. But some of the different definitions of riders and owners are funny as hell. Most stereotypes are based on truth.

Good to know. Sadly, a comparison such as yours can come across the wrong way what with this being a forum as opposed to a face to face over a cup of steaming hot joe ....... Kind of the way some referred to RUB's back when the boomers started driving the prices up through the roof post AMF.

I say mileage does not matter. I only have 7k miles on my 2014 TG. However, I also had surgery during my time of owning it that kept me from riding. There can always be circumstances that keep people from putting the miles they want to put on their bikes, doesn't mean they aren't riders, just means life gets in the way sometimes.

Let me put it this way. If you own a bike or even think of buying one = you are a biker to me. it's the mindset not the ownership that matters.
I also wave to trikes, motor scooters, hacks and mopeds etc. You are in the 2~3 wheel brotherhood that's all that matters - - to me.
Save the wave!

Also just bought Cobra RacePro slipons and got free dealer install - fantastic deep rumble not loud like Rhinehart type pipes.
