Question Why Change lifters anyway?

I didn't know SBC lifters were the same as HD and I'm a WD with Comp Cams to boot.

Question about the 875 lifter we use them often in the shop they are a limited travel lifter that require more precise valve adjustment and are designed for higher RPM hyd roller cams. I had not planned on adjustable push rods with this cam change. Since it can tolerate more plunger travel or preload tolerance if you will do you think a OEM replacement 850 lifter be a better choice?

Why is everyone changing lifters anyway. The TTS-100 isn't a high RPM hot rod cam. My driving style is always between 2000 & 4000 RPM why not just use the stock lifters with 8000 miles on them

I heard from a reliable source that the TTS 150 cams run really well in a 110 but are not quite as impressive in a 103. He still suggests the TTS100s for a stock displacement and head 103. My TTS 100s go in in two weeks. I will post the results. Looking forward to it!

I heard yesterday the mid range TTS-150's are out. Hits in mid range holds the TQ through to red line. TQ and HP are the same numbers as the TTS-100 but it comes in later and holds the curve.

Yes... the 150's are pretty much made for the larger motors that want a mid range tq to red line.

who da thunk it..... I've run the 222 cam in a FatBoy, the 555 cam in a Street Glide, and a Harley 585 cam with a Stage III pro kit in my '15 RGS, I may have to try this TTS-100 in the trike. It appears that I should consider some oil distribution improvements as well

Wow! 30pgs, No cam specs, and no dyno comparisons.

On which cam?

If you are talking about the TTS100 the specs are proprietary and will not be given. TTS has been saying this all along. No Specs.

There are plenty of dyno charts you may match to what you please.
