Default Footboard extentions for the '14

I just came back from a ride to SOOS's place. I wanted footboard extensions for the trike but nobody sells them for the 2014. So SOOS took a look at it and put together a kit that fit the new TGs.

Moving the footboards out an inch on each side is not much but now my foot is back on the board instead of hanging half off the footboards. If anyone needs footboard extensions for their '14, SOOS is the guy to contact.

Thanks Jim for doing an awesome job on the trike. And the quality of the parts seem top notch.

BTW, notice I'm saying footboards and not floorboards. Jim corrected me on my incorrect nomenclature.

The '14's use different parts to do the mod.
Kevin (DK Customs) had to use parts from two kits to make his mod on his new Trike.

I couldn't find any kits that fit the 2014 TGs. It's good to know that you found some other kits available for the 14s.

I found him on the Rushmore section of the forum. I noticed he was from MA also so I PM'ed him about putting together a kit for the '14 TG. He happened to be on vacation so I rode to his house and he pulled off the left footboard so that he could modify his '09-'13 kit.
I'm loving the extensions; and I also picked up a set for the passenger boards. My wife finds them more comfortable than the stock position too.
AS far as his contact info, try to PM SOOS and let him know what you are interested in. I don't feel comfortable posting his personal contact info.

Just to correct my above post; Soos hangs out in the Touring section.

Dennis Kirk foot boards do NOT fit on the 2014 due to the left foot parking brake all one piece frame. O ordered cause it said "fits 2014" but sent back. They do not have for 2014 trikes.

Good to know SOOS has them now for the '14's. I imagine V-Twin Goodies will soon also.

I had the V-Twin Goodies extensions off my 2011. Worked fine for the right side.

The left side worked fine also, once I added these two Sportster Spacers to it.
