Default Arkansas Tree Colors

Planning trip to Arkansas again this year (went last year to see colors and drive the scenic roads for week but trees were not changing).
But we want to go back this year Alma, Eureka Springs, Peels Ferry then Mountain Home and Mountain View and then back home to Kansas.
So if anyone in area can keep this thread updated maybe more people will get to Arkansas this year.

Trying to wear out the 2014 Triglide.
Been to Blue Ridge Parkway, Dragon, Arkansas, Oklahoma and Colorado this year already.
Mama likes to travel.

I put over 50K on my 2009 TG during the first two years I had it. Health problems have prevented me from adding much more since then. Ride the hell out of it while you can. You never know what tomorrow is gonna bring. Be safe and have fun.

Can't say about Arkansas, but south of us in the Smokey Mt's, peak colors usually don't arrive until the second week of October, they say ( you know "they") colors and rain play a big part, more rain in summer, better colors...should be a colorfull year.

Maybe contact the Arkansas Bureau of Toursium...I'm sure they would tell you when the peak colors will be.

Nope, no colors yet. We just rode to Eureka Springs, Branson, Springfield, Nashville, and home. No changes worth seeing yet. Only dogwood, sycamore and junk stuff along the road. A cold front is moving from the west, bringing rain and cooler temps, that'll do the trick.

I'm still hoping we can get some reports when they do change, Need one more short trip before winter hits Kansas.
