[QUOTE=Moe55;13272485]2014 with 10,000 miles have between 4/32 & 3/32 checking it around the tire. Looks like will be changing the tire over the winter. Have a lift kit and do kind of push the twisties a little plus tow trailer 90% of the t

That's about were I was, wear wise. I always got 5k to 7k more on the 2010 & 2012. I would be curious how many 2014 & eventually 2015 owners that had previous years TG's are finding the same thing?

Also periodically check & torque the lug nuts to specs. There have been trikes loose rear wheels from never checking them. Never just trust the dealer to do so !

If you get the service manual, also get the trike supplement for the manual also.
Good idea.
The torque for the rear wheels is 90-100ft lbs. I use 95# on mine.

Another helpful hint. Not front tire related, but rear. Have rear tires for sure broke down, clean the oxidation from the aluminum rim, coat with the grease they use to slow down, or stop oxidation and remount the tire. I just had a tire go down last week. Could not find any puncture, or reason, it was a leak that would loose about 2.5 psi in 8 hrs. Thought I would find something. Finally did break down an found the inside bead was very contaminated with aluminum oxidation. Cleaned and treated with the grease stuff the HD shop uses, not sure of the name, and remounted. Problem fixed. I am going to have the other side done as well. Would have done both right away, but the weather was so nice I wanted to be out riding.

Moe, I like your rig. My trike is just like your's. I had Bushtec build a Roadstar trailer (the one with the external HD look-alike fenders and lights) for mine. They did a great job on the color match and pin stripe match. I just pulled it about 1700 miles with a pretty good load, never knew it was back there. I did notice the air pressure in the trailer suspension would slowly leak down from 50 PSI to about 35 PSI.
Way to go Moe!

Thanks Jim the trailer is an 06 just had it repainted. We have at least 50,000 miles on it and counting. Never have heavy loads in it but it is behind us 90% of the time. My shocks only loose air when there is a temp change but I only run about 35-40 psi. At first have to pay attention pulling up to gas pumps and take corners a little wider but soon that will be second nature.
