I know that pissed me off. I think they cut the pattern that way, so the average person could install it. If you start getting pieces that have to bend around corners and over humps etc. many people would get too frustrated trying to install it.

on edit, just thinking now of trikes I have seen without the film and all dinged up with chips. I would say 95% of the chips are on the lower fender and on the inside of where your passengers boots would rest.

Right after I installed the kit on mine I got a good long chip just about 3/4" outside of the film ! NOT a happy camper!

Thank You, its good to hear it has held up that long, that was my main concern.
