Has anybody ever had their trip-meters malfunction? If so, what is the fix?

I generally use trip-meter A for miles since the last fill-up and trip-meter B for miles since last oil change, or if on a trip, miles since the beginning of the trip.

Yesterday morning I started up and both A & B were showing the same miles as the odometer!

 

Nothing so far. I use mine for miles on current tank and the second to track patriot guard miles.

 

I use it also for trips and gas usage. No problems yet. But I have hit it by
Accident several times.

 

I've done that too!

But this was weird...both trip-meters we reading the same as the odometer, showing over 8000 miles. I have since reset trip-meter A and it seems to be working fine. But B is what I was using to keep track of the Fall Color Road Trip and that is lost.
