At 44 I told my wife that I was trading in two for three , she said no way that's for old people. Now after trading in the 2011 for a 2015 she said that's the decision we ever made . I did take a lot of abuse from my two wheel friends at first but now everyone wants to if I have extra space when we go on trips .

How true about the space. We always get the questions: Can you put our extra bag in your trunk?

That will likely never be an issue for me. When it comes to my wife there is no such thing as unused luggage space.

Honestly we travel pretty light when we travel, heck I have no problems wearing the same pants for a week. I have been seeing that some designers of pants say don't ever wash them. I can deal with that
Seriously though we have the double square HD trunk bags and we can pack a plenty in the two and still get things on top of our bags for our riding friends.
