How do you unzip the file ? after download was completed I also have two . one says Disc Image file & text document ???

Help please

 

You open the zip file like it was a folder (double click it). You will then see 2 files. Copy the iso file onto your flash drive.

Holding the trip button down is not for tri glide!

Have your fob on you.

Unplug any drive you have plugged in to the bike.
Put main switch to accesory (so lights are not on)
Let everything come up as normal.
Have the radio on.
Plug in the flash drive with the iso file on it.
Follow directions on screen.

 

The Disc Image File is the .iso others are referring to.

 

The screen says no audio ???? Hummmm

 

Did mine the same way Scuba and it worked fine. Don't know what it corrected from the old software but got er dun !

 

Sorry guys, I tried this myself. The mechanic at Harley said bring it in and he would do it for me. Great guy, need to buy him a beer or two next time he is off work. No charge

 

1.18.1 > When I pushed zoom in + or out - on the GPS screen it would always jump to the full zoomed in and then work like it should on the next pushes.

1.18.2 corrected that and the zoom buttons respond correctly.

More riding and testing needed!!

Does this update over write a special tune for a stage 1?

 

No it will not over write the custom tune. The tune is done on the ecu module. The boombox update is only done on the infotainment unit and does not affect anything else.

 

I have done the updates many times but this time was different. I have over 2000 songs on a thumb drive and many are saved to favorites. When I updated from 1.18.1 to 1.18.2 it cleared all my favorites. I've never had an update do that. Nothing else was changed.
