I'm using a Airhawk R air pad. After you get it adjusted with the right amount of air, it's great. Works for me.

I find the HD Air Zep to be a great seat if you can stand the $$$. I did find it set me about 1 inch higher than the stock seat on my 2012 Tri.

I'm struggling with what actually makes a seat more comfortable. After 1,300 miles on my stick 2012 seat last week...I think there is improvement needed. But, it starts out comfortable. Then approaching 2 hours, my but gets sore. But, then if I sit on my sofa at home for 2 hours without moving my butt gets sore.

So...maybe I'll save the $$ and stop every 90 minutes to stretch.

But...some have mentioned the a Mustang seats as they have a 30 exchange policy.

We were also using the AirHawk R pads. One for rider, and one for passenger. Just ordered the HD Road Zepplin air adjust seat this weekend. We loved the comfort of the pads, but heard so many good things about he Zep decided to spend the money. With the pads the only thing we did not like was remembering to put them in the tour pak or trunk when stopping.

I guess it depends on your budget. When the funds are available we are going to go with a Russel Day Long seat. This is the seat the Iron Butt Assoc. recommend the most and I have never heard any complaints about it. Ugly? Yes, but I'll take ugly over a sore backside any day!

I have been riding Corbins for 20 years and like them. We ride as much at 650 mile days without issues.

On my wife's TriGlide she went with the Ultimate Seat. She really likes it.
