OK... I'm reporting back in and the news is as expected. I'm still a pain in the **** but for the next two months my neck will give it a run for it's money.

I was there for the party but slept through it. I heard they cut out and replaced two disc then put in a metal plate and forgot the locktite on the threads. They were done with me by 2 ish and I was wandering around the halls in my blue jeans and sweat shirt at 4 the next morning.

Got home at 2 yesterday and slept through the night with my new neck brace.

Doc said I was 1/2 inch taller now. 1/4" per disc.

I'm limited to my computer desk time so I'll be connected but not saying much... surely some will rejoice in the true meaning of that last statement.

Good to be back guys... chat more soon.

No rehab. I already work my hands and shoulders from the last surgery so Doc gave me a pass as long as I continue at home.

Good to hear you are still kicking. I will say a word to the "big trike rider up yonder" to be with you.

God Speed and take care

What did I miss? We have been incognito the last 6 weeks because my DH, George, has been bed ridden with back, butt, leg and knee pain. Has to walk with a walker for now.

Glad your surgery went well, Wizard. Sounds your Drs have been more helpful than ours have been.

Glad everything went well for you. Hope you get well enough to be able to get to Maggie Valley.
