No I havent. But It could be done an elec unit. Like they have on the ATV's. Built into the damper unit. Some body will make one. Some day.

I know a few old guys with bad sholders. Necks and upper back problems. Have a hard time stearing the trike.

 

Throw in 2 heart attacks, open heart surgery, and aortic valve replacement and you just described....ME

 

4wheeler's and snowmobiles have power steering! I think it could be designed to work on the Harley trikes. My dad is 91 and has a Freewheeler that he would like to install power steering or assist. I agree with him that it needs it! Maybe there is a trick to make it easier- push with the outside arm in a turn and not pull so much with inside arm? It is very different then just leaning with 2 wheels!

 

Never heard of one. Did you install a lift kit? And pull back handlebars? They'll make steering easier.

 

Just hope it's an option, I don't need more weight, more cost and something to eat up power or electric or repair cost and add resistance.
I couple bags of salt,tools, steel plate, permanent luggage, etc. in the trunk will make it steer easier.
10 pounds and $50. I'll take it.

 

Timeout most after market kits have an extended rake option for the triple trees on the front of their trikes. They call it Ez steer. There are several manufactures. HHI makes one and Lehman Trikes/Champion Trikes also make them. I installed the HHI on mine. They told me it fit the 2014 and up Tri Glides but it didn't. After they tried to convince me I was just stupid HHI told me they would install it for me for free if I brought the trike to them. I did since they where only a few hours from me. Come to find out I WASN't STUPID their raked trees had to be milled to fit and the break fluid resivoir had to be relocated. (2013 and older probably fit perfect) They did install the trees but I wasn't happy with the work so when I got it back home I disassembled and customized the trees to fit. I'm happy now and the trike steers much easier but I thought it was bull$&@ that I had to basically remill the damn things to fit and I made a 6 hour trip for nothing.
The good thing about HHI trees is you can install up grade fork cartages like Legond or Traxxion with other trees you need to use the stock size wheels and fork cartages as far as I can tell.

If you are running a (18")stock front wheel and fork springs I would recommend the Lehman EZ Steer trees. Most dealers will install them and they should not effect your warranty.

Bottom line Ez Steer rake kits are very common in the trike world. I think all after market kits offer Ez Steer options. It makes steering much easier and is widely thought that Harley should rake the front end more to make steering easier. As it is the Tri Glides are like driving a 60's model car without power steering. Hope this helps answer your question.
