Default Amsoil Oil and Filters

Question for those here that use Amsoil oil in their TG's – do you also use an Amsoil filter or do you use the HD filter? And why?? Thanks.

I use the HD filter, the Harley Twin Cam is famous for low oil pressure when the oil is hot, mine does 32 cold around 10 hot. I don't want to take a chance of another oil filter that may cut that low 10 lbs. lower than what it is. Harley engineer may more than I do on this one! I'm sure other filters are good but have not researchd if they all will filter and allow maximum oil pressure. I know some people have and hope they post.

I'll be switching to Amsoil on my next oil change, I'm sticking with the HD filters. I almost bought a case of Amsoil filters until I learned they were not the same diameter as the HD ones, the Amsoil filters are a little smaller in diameter. I can get HD filters pretty cheap at 20% off dealers so I figure why change.

I used to get 20% off on Syn3 from the dealer I used to do business with, once the new tyrant....owner come along and started grabbing for $$ that discount went away. I found an Amsoil supplier who is selling to me at close to what I used to pay for Syn3 so I bought 2 cases of it.

The two Amzoil filters I tried leaked at the crimp at the bottom of the filter. I've used HD filters ever since

Thanks to all. Sounds like everyone is pretty much sticking with the HD filter.
