You never called me sir, just Boomer. Is that because you are older than I.

Forgive my memory, it isn't that great, but seems both conversations have a lot of the truth.

I'm thinking that HD sent an incomplete build to Lehman where they installed their swing arm assembly and body then sent it back to HD for shipping to their dealerships. This was in 2009 and 2010. 2011 HD took over the complete process.

The frame for the TG is different than a UC from the end of the tank back if you look at them stripped down as I have. The frame is a little different under the seat to the swing arm attachments. Wouldn't this make the TG frame a trike only frame?
It's amazing how much incorrect information there is out there about the TG whether it is a conversion or not because Lehman put the back half on it.

Am I correct with the notion that HD does the Tri Glide in house now at their Milwaukie Plant, does not have an affiliation with Lehman now! I believe this started with the 2011 model!

You are correct, 2011 is the 1st year the entire build of the Triglide takes place in York.

Does the Tri Glide frame have a different part number from the standard touring frame? Does the Tri Glide frame have a different neck rake than a touring frame. It is my understanding Harley uses a raked tree (like a conversion trike) with a different part number from the standard solo touring tree.

Frame part numbers are different, PN for a Triglide frame is 83411-09BHP and the PN for the FL 2 wheeler frame is 47900-09BHP. I believe they both have the same rake at the neck, with the Trigide getting its rake from the trees.
