Did you have any problem fitting the 4" Jackpot mufflers I was interested in them, but was concerned about the dia. Being too big for the trike
I'm running the Vance Hines Monster Rounds. They are 4" muffs, And they fit perfectly ! It looks as if the body reliefs were made for them.
But in the interest of the muffs, put on a 1.25" lift kit. for the extra clearance .

That's good advice. I am running the 4" SE mufflers and with the lift kit I generally don't scrap them.
I have a 2013 Anniversary trike #237.
The dealer installed Vance and Hines 2-1-2 header with 4" Rinehart mufflers.
I want the lift kit but he says they have to modify the exhaust so it doesn't hit the swing arms. Does this sound right?

I'm running a 2012 w/ 2009 header, with 4" Monster Rounds, & a 1.25" lift on the rear. All without any type of modification to anything for clearance. I am also running the stock crossover for the left side. I have no problems....Have them prove things to ya before you by!
tick-tock, tick, tock....#469 2013 Anniversary Tri-Glide arrives at my house 12/26. Transferred all my 'goodies' from the '09 which took 2 days, now the holiday and the local DMV office is closed all week!

Welcome to the Forum!
There are a few exhaust mfg. that have made headers for the Tri-Glide that do not follow the same line as the stock headers...ie. they don't jog down as far under the swingarm.
If that is the case with the V&H headers you have, then the lift kit will cause the swingarm to hit the header.
I have talked to a couple of MFG. about this and one of them has already changed their TG header design to match the stock header configuration.

Some A/M have the header pipe a little longer, then the "Z" pipe to go down is a separate piece where the stock pipe is one piece. Compare the stock header to the new one and trim end where "Z" pipe goes till they are comparable in shape and length. It should be doable. Also check that they do not shove the slip-ons to far forward. Dennis

Get your ins. straight and you should have some time left from the dealer/title transfer before you are illegal. Especially things being closed for the holidays.
It's going to be cold & nasty all week anyway.... I would be on mine today but for the snow. It's up to 32* in Poky !
