Post Service manual confusion

Ok, I'm new to Harley - Davidson so I'm a little confused. I bought what I thought was the 2013 trike manual but soon realized it is the trike supplement - not the entire manual. So, the question is - what is this manual the supplement to? What other manual do I need to get so that I will have the service manuals for all aspects of the 2013 TriGlide?

The main manual is for the touring edition bikes. They don't have anything that references the trike. You need both. The supplement references the trike part of the machine.

I was a little upset myself when I had to fork out a total of $100 for both the Touring model service manual and the trike supplement

You got an extra wheel from Harley and didn't think it was gonna cost more? ;-)

I was kiddin. That's about standard for any vehicle that is heavily based off another model. It's easier for them (and ultimately cheaper for you) to just print trike inserts for specifics to that vehicle and rely on the service manual where everything else is applicable.

I'm not griping about it. I have a Goldwing Hannigan trike and I paid over $100 for the Goldwing service manual which, of course, doesn't address any trike issues at all. I ordered the Touring manual today. Not planning to get the parts or electrical manual at this point. I can get some info from my HD dealer about that stuff (I hope).

I don't know if this will help you to feel better or not, but, I saved the cost of the two manuals when I did my 1,000 mile service in my garage.
