Today talked with the GM at the dealer. He told me I was lucky because AFTER my vin # they do not have the PTT switch. He said the Trikes coming in now do not have the switch. The other info I had came from the parts guy. I would go with the GM's info over the parts guys. Someone with a recent delivery would know for sure.

I can tell you that mine came with neither the PTT switch nor the 2nd antenna.

I'd have a serious case of hartburn spending 33k+ and then having to buy the CB and a PTT switch, thats BS. A good many people travel on these and a CB comes in handy, what were they thinking.

Dealer told me moco did a survey and that most people surveyed did not have a use for the CB. The way they think it was probably Sporty riders they asked.

Default CB Radio

I love and use my CB all the time and find riding with someone that doesn't have one a PITA. It's so nice when wanting to stop or decide to go a different route or see an obstacle in the road or passing cars on narrow two lane hiways.

Not installing a CB is just another way for the MOCO and dealer to make money as folks will add them later. It is total BS.

Well my new TG is hopefully going to ship this week (10/10) and I still do not know what it is going to take or cost to put a CB on it. I know the CB unit and an antenna... may be a PTT switch and labor. I guess that I will not know for sure untill it gets here.

They have an advisory committee where they survey the participants, I've been on it for about 4 years now. I do remember them asking a boat load of questions about sound systems and such, can't remember the CB but I'm sure they must of ask. I know my answer would have been keep it, no reason to short change the folks coughing up money on a premium ride.

Does anyone know if you can use an older CB mod with the new radius? They have the same model number. I have one from an older ultra but did not want to hook it up if it would hurt the radio. The plus match also
