I think there is a write up on the new cam in their web-intro if you have the download. If you are looking for a number such as 203,204,255 or something like that, I don't think it exists.

Are you looking for the specs?

Default cam size

I was looking for a number to compare it to. Is it bigger than a 255 or comparable to one of the after market cams . Thanks for the response.

Size is everything.

The SE255 cams have a
Lift of .550 exhaust and intake
Intake opening at 6* BTDC
Intake closing at 25* ABDC
Intake duration of 211*
Exhaust opening at 48* BTDC
Exhaust closing at 7* ABCD
Exhaust duration of 235*
Overlap of 13*

The new 2014 cam
Lift of .530 exhaust and intake
Intake opening at 3* BTDC
Intake closing at 30* ABDC
Intake duration of 213*
Exhaust opening at 43* BTDC
Exhaust closing at 10* ABDC
Exhaust duration of 233*
Overlap of 13*

Here is a comparison view of the stock 2013 cam and 2014 cam. Sorry that there is not one for the 255's.

Overlap does several things...it gives the engine the cammy throb feel, and gives better mixing of the intaken fuel air mixture. But, at a downside that some of the fuel mix exits with the exhaust. This makes it difficult to meet EPA with much overlap. Although 13 degrees is not overly aggressive, it is noticeable and the un burnt fuel would be measurable. Let's hope HD did not further lean out the mixture to compensate.

BTW...still loving my 255 cams with the SEPST tune. Puts the oomph at the low end where I wanted it.

15.1 to over 16 AFR is common with the 14 Touring bikes and their new cam.
