Default New guy

I just purchased my 2014 trike. Loving it and getting recall taken care of this weekend. Also doing the digital adjustments so side lights do not shut off when I hit high beams.

2014 tr-glide extremely happy with it. no problems except one recall and took about 10 mins to replace at h d. 3400 miles and a ride like i have never experienced before. only thing i do not like is losing air in the shocks. beautiful ride.

I have had this same problem on other Harleys that I have owned and you do not need to live with it. Tell your dealer about the problem and they should order all new air lines and fittings. The only time the air pressure should fluctuate is when the weather turns cold or hot. Same thing happens to the pressure in your car/bike tires when seasons change. A lot of people have this problem with air pressure loss in shocks and can be fixed.

Is anybody else having a oil like substance sheeting down the inside of your speedo and tach ? had mine replaced once, now the replacements are doing it.

Default Low Bars

Made the swap to 3-wheels this spring 14 Tri Glide, so far so good. Was on two for over 50 years took some time but remembered to not put my feet down, not lean, and to push pull instead of counter steering. Only thing my large frame decided was it needed a seat which sat me back farther and that the handle bars were way to low. Seat was replaced and the bars are being replaced with the 12 inch mini apes Harley has out this year. Be safe out there,,,

I was thinking on getting the mini apes also, but when I got the $1000+ quote, I suddenly appreciated my stock bars much more.

I can live with the stock bars and the Road Zepplin seat.

^^^ Gary, here's a great thread with pics on how to change those handlebars yourself; couple hundred bucks and 3-4 hours of your time sounds a lot better than paying a grand. I'm going to do it over this winter.

Thanks for the response, but I'm not nearly as mechanically inclined that that would require.
I haven't even tried a different set of bars to see if I really want to do all that work and cost. I'm still waiting to see if someone brings their modified bike in to the dealer for service so I can test the configuration. No one I know has different bars. That's a major cost for something that might turn out to be a very minor improvement. Like I said I'm fine with the stock bars.
