Default Trike,Bike or Both?

Just wondering how many of you might be in a similar situation as me.I have been riding for 49 years with no physical problems. However this past year I became ill and lost allot of strength,I no longer felt safe or comfortable riding with the wife on back.So I purchased a Trike so we could continue to ride together.I kept my 03 Electra so I could continue to enjoy the two wheel experience while riding solo. This has worked out great, having the best of both and not having to give one up.

My wife loves our trike, I had to leave 2 wheels because I was knocked off and I am now a aka with a kliktronic gear change.

I to have been riding for 49 years and made the swap from 2 to 3 wheels yesterday. Gave up my '10 Ultra but plan to find an older, used something with 2 wheels in the future. I'm a gearhead so may look for a basket case to restore.....

My wife won't get on anything that leans. She won't even sail with me anymore. That's why we have a TriGlide. I kept my Road King Classic, put a solo seat on her and we are still in love.

I am in a similar situation. After an F250 broke 19 of my bones, I no longer have the strength to hold up a 2 wheel touring bike. We're on our 2nd Tri-Glide and having a great time traveling on it.

Still have a Softail that we both ride, and a Sporty that I ride solo. Best of 3 worlds!

Nice pic, and I dig that color combo!

Over 50 years riding here also, I wont get into the physical conditions.
We have 2 trikes 2 two wheelers and 1 bike with a hack.
Because we never ride 2 up the wife only rides the TriGlide solo leaving me to decide what I want to ride.
Teach you wife to pilot the TG, its easy. Since the TG came out in '09 ive seen a lot of women on them solo.

As with others, wife won't ride two wheels anymore, doesn't feel safe and her knees make it impossible to mount the bike with me holding it upright. So we now have a 2014 TG. It's our forth trike, two wings and second TG. I also have my 13 Ultra but it's for sale.
I would like to find a smaller two wheel for solo riding.
