I pulled the trigger and did it, I should be getting my new trike in a few days.

Dealer gave me KBB trade in value for my '12 and is swapping my pullback handlebars on the new trike for $500 (including the cost of new cables, labor, etc). I had to negotiate up to get trade in value, they originally came in lower. Then I negotiated the transfer of my handlebars since that was a "must have" on the new bike.

The result of it all is my loan term will be for one year longer than I have currently and $125 more per month than my current payments on the '12. For all the upgrades the '14 gives, I felt like I was getting a good deal.

I wouldn't hold my breath, they never came out with anything to help the 09 - 10 owners retro the 30 tooth sprocket. When I inquired with customer service the lady with the superior than me attitude said that was an upgrade for the 11's and they wouldn't be doing anything for the previous MY's as far as an upgrade path.

I certainly agree with your assessment of how little Harley cares about their customers. what they DO care about though, is profit. I can't help but think such a kit would be a very profitable accessory for them to market, as well as a big labor producer for their dealers.

That theory is what I was basing my prediction on. We'll see in time I guess.

I doubt that very much. The cost would be very high.

Once HD gets their money they forget about you or give you the run around. I at this time love my 09. It took 2 year and the collective experience of the early users on this forum to work through the problems. It also was the result of me having deep pockets and the mechanical skills, expertise of M3.

Amen to that! I bought 3 TG/SG trikes from the MOCO and they don't keep in touch with me unless they want me to renew my HOG membership. I spent over a hundred and fifteen grand (cash money not financed) and they treat me like I don't exist. That's one of the reasons I'll never buy another one from them. I'm gonna rebuild the motor in my current trike and ride it till I can't ride no more.

Got my '12 just the way I want it. Unless they come out with 120r option, not enough reasone can every be imagined to move up in my remaining riding years.

That is what keeps people coming back, little carrots that their present unit dose'nt have and they wont release the upgrade. Usually it keeps the aftermarket going or you will trade up.

IMHO Wait until next year. Give moco some time to work out the bugs in the new "wet head" design. Less headaches for you that way.
