I looked on the HD website and it says there are no recalls on my '12 TG??

Thank you msocko3, that link came up! Wonder if they'll do the replacement if you don't have the noise, guess I'll have to stop by the dealership!

Every dealer is different, when my dad and I checked with a couple dealers they said no. You might get lucky and find a yes dealer.

My brakes squeal like a pig. When I took it to the stealership, they couldn't hear it and charged me a convenient $135.92 for the opportunity to let them look. No, they didn't replace them as they had no record of previous complaints. Go figger.

Update on the squealing brakes. I hit 12K on the clock over the weekend. I ordered some rotors and pads that are part numbered on the brake bulletin. They arrived today via UPS and I installed them. I did the run up and down the drive and they seem to not have much stopping power...maybe ok when they wear the new off.

I took a copy of that bulletin to my local dealer told him the brakes squealed, of course he couldn't hear it. In the end he ordered the parts and will install today. He said he was only doing it for good customer relations.

........I must be lucky....the brakes work good....in june I replaced the rear rotors...got 43 thou out of them...
