Default 2012 Rear Brake Rotors

There must be an affordable aftermarket or automotive replacement for these POS rear rotors. Anybody?

Mine on the 09 were replaced with an "upgrade" set of rotors and pads under warrenty a couple of years ago. I think I got the service bulletin here. Took her in for service, mentioned the squeeking snd chattering and they changed out everything. Really didnt have a problem before, but new and improved feel better. Good luck

Had my rotors and pads replaced a few weeks ago at no cost. There is a service bulletin out and covers the cost if the trike is still under warranty. I have only put a few hundred miles on the replacements so far but they are much quieter now. If you need the service bulletin number let me know and I will post it.

Yeah, I would like to get a copy of the bulletin. My Trike was/is under warranty. Took it to dealer for squeaking rear brakes about six months ago. They said it was a wear out item, and charged me about $900 for the "better" rotors and new pads. The don't squeak anymore, but IMO take more leg muscle for the same braking effort.

Affordable?
I just installed the Lyndall ceramic/aluminum rotors at @$300 each. Pads were extra cost. The jury is still out as far as stopping power. They seem to get better with use. I will say they should outlast stock by twice the miles. Much better quality. My belief is the shortcoming of the stock rear calipers---they should be dual like front.
My extended warranty wouldn't cover Harley pad/rotor replacement @20,000 miles.

Delta thanks for posting the tsb m-1339 link. For whatever reason forum page would not allow me to download it.

I had brakes and rotors changed under this service bulletin and my service department even picked up the $50.00 deductible. It was documented in my records, for them to check brake squeal every time I brought my bike in for service prior to Harley issuing service bulletin.
No more squeal.
