I feel better, I've never had a problem with Neutral until the Trike. I'll have to try the heel shifter next. On a good note the wife & I made our third trip and it's getting easier to ride. Now if I can get the Neutral problem solved all will be good. Ride safe.

I would pretty much agree with everyone in the 30-32 MPH range. With the mods I have if I'm going over 70 I probably drop down to 27-28. It really does depend on the speed your traveling. A strong headwind actually gives me the worst mileage of all.

I did a 201 mile trip last week up into the Jemez Mountains, Valles Caldera and Bandelier National Monument. I was alone and I got 42 miles per gallon.
I do have some improvements over stock that are working very well.
See my sig line...

My best mpg was 41 which I achieved while riding on a 2 lane road in 5th gear running 50 to 60 mph. On the interstate I get somewhere between 30 and 31 mpg. It all depends how far I twist my wrist. I generally travel at 75 to 80 mph.

I'm not a miles per gallon guy. more of a miles per tank guy...If I top right up I get 300kms per tank...in miles I thinks thats just over 200

I just got my TG back from the 1K service, "Syn3 in all 3 holes now", the difference with SYN3 is very noticeable with my ability to get neutral. I have 1400 miles on it now and it's getting easier all the time.

As others have said, speed or headwinds really put a hurting on gas mileage. My overall mileage is still in the 35 range, with a low of 32 and a high of 39.

I love this TG and everything about it, never once regretted giving up my last bike!

Default Same as with other Trike owners

Went on a 100 mile ride into the 4000 elevation. Wife and I, still breaking in engine, about 400 mile on engine. 38 mpg. Surprised me because last I checked but not sure on the extra digit on the fuel, was 32 mpg. Neutral started to get easier using the heel but could not get neutral to go. Not sure if it is the light switch could be fooling us and it is not switching, like the reverse light takes time to eluminate. I am thinking on seeing if it is easier with engine off or putting it in neutral after a long ride when everything is hot. Anybody notice if different when gears are cold or hot?

I have a 13 triglide anniversary (2500 miles) and my wife a 14 triglide (1000 miles). So far we both average 38 (city/highway).

'14, 1400 smiles on it, half 55mph back roads and half 70mph highway, 34mpg according to a Droid records app (aCar). Sounds about right. And yeah, with break in of both the engine AND the rider (too much yee-hawing after the first 500 miles!) it should do better.

Will see how it goes on our upcoming 5,000 mile road trip and report back.

+1 on the easier shifting and the heel tap, it got much easier. Still have a hard time coming down to N from second, though.
