Harley infotainment music not compatable with SENA bluetooth
I purchased a Sena Bluetooth and after many tries I found the Sena will not play music on the headset. It will give you voice commands for the
GPS and you can receive phone calls but Sena sent me a email that Harley info will not play music over the Bluetooth headset.

We have the Sena SMH10 units. I purchased a Clear Sound Bluetooth Stereo transmitter and a 7 pin to 3.5mm adapter. This will give you the music, PGS, and phone capability. I think the adapter was about $20 and the transmitter was $40. I chose the Clear Sound unit because you can charge it while using it, others wouldn't. I'll attach a picture with labels. If you want to kick it up a notch, you can order (About 30 bucks) the accessory helmet clamp. It allows you to use any ear buds or headset you want instead of the helmet speakers they provide. I took a pair of Sony Studio headsets, removed the head gear and put the earpieces in the helmet recess. TALK ABOUT GOD AWFUL SOUND!!! I can listen to Santana loud enough to make my eyes bleed and no one is bothered with my volume.
ENJOY.
ENJOY.

Screwball, I am assuming that this is good for the rider (good for me), but would it also support the passenger? Since we ride 2 up, we are still looking for a comfortable solution to the factory headsets; we both wear HD half helmets, and for this it is a serious compromise.

The TG comes with one, but our salesman tossed the other one in; buying one is a $180 ticket. I am an engineer (and thrifty), so I haven't given up getting these to work. We like the half helmets and not ready to buy two new ones.

I bought a pair of 1/2 helmet headsets off the internet a couple of years ago. Googled up 7 pin Harley Davidson headsets and there they were. go around the neck and over the ears. The straps on our 'shortie' helmets hold the ear phones close to the ear. Wife and I are very happy with them. They run about $80.00 on line plus shipping.
